It's the long awaited return of Kyle after I got married 2 weeks ago today. I want to first thank my brother, best friend, and co-founder of our blog as well as our loyal readers for their support and their well wishes for our wedding, Megan and I appreciate all your support. That being said, I want to say a few things concerning the use of Happy Holidays as opposed to the customary Merry Christmas.
When did this happen that is was more "politically correct" to say Happy Holidays as opposed to Merry Christmas??? If it's because nobody wants to offend anyone, I think that's bullshit!! Look on the calendar. December 25th is known as CHRISTMAS DAY!! Not Holiday day. I get the happy holidays when you're including new years and possibly thanksgiving and you group them together but to use it instead of Merry Christmas because you don't want to offend anyone who does not celebrate the holiday is horse shit. Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated generally on December as a religious and cultural holiday by billions of people around the world. So who gives you the right to take offense to someone saying Merry Christmas to you???
If you don't celebrate Christmas and take offense to those who use that phrase then wear a sign that says, "don't say Merry Christmas to me" and problem solved. I'll be damned if I'm going to stop saying Merry Christmas for fear of offending or upsetting someone. If you don't like it, stay inside. I'm not saying its appropriate for people to shove the holiday down your throat because there are those who go overboard but for the rest of us it's not right for you to act like assholes because we celebrate the holiday and you do not. Religious beliefs aside, Christmas is still a cultural holiday that is celebrated

by millions of people around the world. If you happen to not be one of those people, all I ask is for you to not ruin it for the rest of us!!! If you don't celebrate it just simply say "you too" when someone says "Merry Christmas" to you, prick!!
The other thing that bothers me around this time is that there are a ton of people that get all frantic when it comes to christmas shopping and again, act like assholes to others while shopping. You're no better than anyone else so don't act like you are and deserve special treatment while shopping. You're not the only person shopping and whether you think so or not, you're not entitled to cut in line, push, shove, curse at, yell at, or any other inappropriate behavior towards other people while shopping. It also does not give you the right to do those same actions towards the store employees. They have families they'd like to see at Christmas too so show some class and be a little nicer to those retail employees!!!
The last thing I want to vent about is all of the Christmas music out there. Why does every damn music artist feel like the world wants to hear their version of jingle bells, or silent night??? Oh and don't worry Bieber, I'll get to you in a little bit!!! Christmas music has a certain feeling to it when you hear it and certain people, just because they have a hit record, just are not cut out to sing Christmas music. Some artists get this but other's don't. Now I'm not saying that some current renditions of Christmas songs aren't good or even great but it's overflowed with people trying to make Christmas albums. Just because you had a #1 hit in June, doesn't mean I want to hear you sing O' Christmas tree!!!! Bottom line is, some things should be left alone and some songs not redone. Bieber, congratulations on all the money and the fact you Sandusky'd the world to get it, but you don't fool me my friend. I watched the Christmas special from Washington DC and the fact that you got invited was bad enough but you suck!! You can't sing!! With all due respect to Usher, he got this one wrong. If I hear that stupid Christmas song again I'll stop listening to music. Do you really think people are going to remake that bullshit excuse for a song 30 years from now??? You suck Bieber!!
Well there you have it. The long awaited return of...
